Q: Can my husband & I use the same bidder number?
Q: What do I do as my phone’s battery is about to die and I want to keep bidding?
A: Pick up one of our devices and enter your bidder number.
Q: I need to go out to the car, can I bid from there?
A: No, you will need to reconnect when you come back in the event area.
Q: I thought I bid, but how do I make sure?
A: You would have gotten a “success” notification and it would be in green on your watch list. Bidding is a two step process. Watching an item is not bidding.
Q: My phone won’t go to the number pad it goes to your website?
A: Check that your Wi-Fi is connected to the Bid Partner network. Make sure you entered something (anything word works) or clicked on something in your history into the address bar not the search area. Either of those should redirect you to the number pad. Feel free to use one of our devices if you have troubles.
Q: My blackberry doesn’t work?
A: They do not seem to be compatible with our system so please borrow one of ours.
Q: Will I know what I won on the SA at the end?
A: Yes, when the auction closes the final screen will freeze with your winning items displayed and final silent auction total due.
Q: Will the Fund-a-need, Live items or extra purchases be on the final screen?
A: No, they may not if those had not been entered by the end of the Silent Auction.
Q: Who can help me?
A: Anyone in a blue shirt or blue lanyard.
Q: When does the auction close?
A: Listen for the announcement. That decision is up to the event organizers and sometimes is variable. Listen for an announcement regarding the auction closing.
